Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and related material handling equipment. While forklift experience is advantageous, we welcome candidates with solid experience in general machinery, diesel engines, and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults accurately and efficiently Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to minimize downtime Troubleshoot electrical systems including wiring, controllers, sensors, and batteries Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures Complete job cards, service reports, and maintain accurate records Provide on-site support and breakdown assistance when required Minimum Requirements Proven experience working on machinery (forklifts, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar) Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (12V / 24V systems, controllers, sensors) Solid mechanical knowledge (engines, hydraulics, drivetrains) Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals Valid driver’s license Ability to work.Error!
