Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Technician with a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in machinery, vehicles, or equipment who is eager to develop their skills in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The successful candidate will work alongside senior technicians to service and repair forklifts and other machinery, gaining valuable practical experience. Key Responsibilities Assist with servicing, maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and machinery Support senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Perform basic inspections and preventative maintenance tasks Help with repairs on engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems Assist in troubleshooting wiring, batteries, and basic electrical components Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment Complete basic job cards and assist with service reports Attend breakdowns with senior technicians when required Minimum Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge (vehicles, machinery, or equipment) Basic understanding of electrical systems (wiring, batteries, starters, alternators) Willingness to learn and take direction Good work ethic and reliability Valid driver’s license (or working towards one) Advantageous (Not Essential) Some experience working on forklifts, vehicles, or construction equipment Technical qualification or currently studying (Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Millwright.Error!
