CTC: R18,000 – R22,000 per month

A well-established company in the building & home improvement manufacturing sector is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with product costing, bill of materials, and cost variance analysis
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports
- Support month-end processes (recons & journals)
- Analyze actual vs. budgeted costs and report on variances
- Liaise with customers regarding pricing and orders
- Collaborate with cross-functional management teams
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting / Management Accounting (or similar)
- 1–3 years’ experience in a cost or management accounting role
- Manufacturing experience (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
