Admin Officer
A vacancy is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Admin Officer.
Purpose of the Role:
To take full responsibility for factory fixed costs, stores and warehouse operations, services and welfare departments, as well as overall internal factory administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of finished goods
- Manage consumable stores, including procurement, storage, and issuing of stock and non-stock items
- Take responsibility for factory administration and site IT systems
- Manage financial and cost accounting functions, including asset control, budgeting, reporting, and audits
- Oversee welfare services, including guest houses, cleaning, and garden services
- Ensure site security across all facilities (factory, village, hostel, dam, and effluent sites)
- Lead and manage team performance effectively
- Ensure compliance with production, safety, ISO, and Quality Management standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Core Mathematics
- Completed Commerce-related degree (BCom/BCompt)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in administration, including financial and management systems exposure
- 3–5 years’ experience in budgeting and financial management
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems
- 3–5 years’ experience managing teams and stakeholder relationships
- At least 3 years’ experience on an ERP system (Syspro advantageous)
- Proficient in English communication
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, internet navigation, and search tools
