Job Summary
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Gr. 12 (Std. 10) with Mathematics
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law or related field
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 5 Years’ working experience in a unionised Manufacturing Environment after completion of tertiary qualifications (preferred).
• Proven experience as an HR practitioner or similar role
• Proven experience dealing with IR issues
• Previous dealings/exposure to MEIBC preferred
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Communication Skills (both verbal and written) in English as a minimum.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail in order to analyse data and generate trend reports
• Strong numeracy skills
• Interpersonal skills (interact with other Departments)
• Ability to deal with large amounts of administration and keep accurate records
• Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
• Computer literate (minimum of MS Office & MS Excel).

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement and manage HR policies and procedures
• Handle recruitment and selection processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and training programs
• Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
• Oversee performance appraisal and management processes
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations and MEIBC Agreements
• Maintain employee records and HR databases
• Provide guidance on HR matters to employees and management
• Implement and manage all disciplinary/procedural matters associated with employees
