Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Red Seal Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical and electrical plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fault-find, repair, maintain, and lubricate machinery and equipment.
Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
Install, assemble, align, and dismantle machinery.
Monitor plant equipment to minimise downtime.
Conduct inspections and identify maintenance improvements.
Report breakdowns and monitor repairs through to completion.
Adhere to OHS policies and procedures.
Work overtime and respond to call-outs when required.
Requirements
Grade 12.
Red Seal Millwright qualification.
4–6 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
Manufacturing/feed industry experience advantageous.
PLC, Drives, SCADA, and Automation knowledge.
Team-leading/supervisory experience advantageous.
English and/or Afrikaans communication skills.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
South African citizen and medically fit.

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good technical and mathematical ability.
Attention to detail and safety-conscious.
Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns.
Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player.
