Our client is a premier provider of innovative branding, gifting, and packaging solutions based in Centurion. We seek a sophisticated, detail-oriented Account Manager to serve as a strategic partner to clients and the primary driver of project excellence. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Client Relationship Management Act as a brand custodian, ensuring the integrity of the client’s physical brand identity through: Briefing & Translation Convert complex client requirements into precise, actionable internal briefs for production/ procurement, design and logistics teams. Growth & Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities for organic account growth and value-added solutions. Consultative Feedback: Manage expectations with professional insight and provide feasible alternatives to meet budget and timeline constraints. 2. End-to-End Project Management Oversee the full project lifecycle Workflow Leadership: Manage the internal flow by briefing production/ procurement, logistics, and design teams. Logistical Coordination: Partner with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. 3. Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance Maintain the highest standards of brand accuracy through: Proofing: Vet artwork and mock-ups with a keen eye for colour accuracy and branding methodologies (e.g., embroidery vs. print) in relation to clients’ brand identity. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and implement contingencies to ensure meeting clients’ deadlines. 4. Commercial & Portfolio Management Ensure the commercial health and overall profitability of assigned accounts Margin Stewardship: Optimise production and logistics costs to meet Gross Profit targets without compromising quality. Scope Management: Monitors project scope diligently to recover costs from "scope creep" and protect the bottom line. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Experience & Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in Account Management (BTL, experiential marketing, or product branding). Knowledge: High proficiency in merchandising, branding processes, and industry terminology. Track Record: Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and international suppliers. Education: Relevant tertiary qualification preferred; advanced Microsoft Office skills. Key Competencies: Communication: Exceptional command of written and spoken English. Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Technical Eye: Extreme attention to detail regarding colour matching and production quality. Financial Proficiency: Core financial skills focused on profitability, budgeting, and commercial awareness Soft Skills: High EQ, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and strong collaborative skills. Mandatory Requirements: Valid South African ID. Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle. REMUNERATION R35k cost to company – No additional fringe benefits Potential annual discretionary bonus: Individual performance-based/ subject to company profitability.
