Who you are:
We are looking for someone that enjoys the logistics industry and has knowledge of truck and trailer parts. You are also someone that is systematic and disciplined, as well as someone that thrives on planning and coordination. You are a team player and action-orientated.
Your areas of responsibility:
Assist in operating the parts store and storeroom
Administration process surrounding ordering and purchasing of stock
Negotiate pricing of parts with suppliers
Receiving parts from suppliers and checking it into the storeroom
Issuing of parts to the needed departments
Knowledge of truck and trailer parts to increase accuracy and efficiency
Monitor stock levels to balance stock quantities and monthly spend
Monthly and yearly stock takes
Requirements:
Grade 12
2 - 4 Years working experience in a similar environment
Knowledge of heavy vehicle parts
Computer literate
