What experience/skills you should have:

• Minimum of 5 years dealership experience
• The brands should be: Mercedes, Man, Freightliner, Fuso, Isuzu, Hino, Kenworth, Scania

What will you be doing:

• Brakes: adjust and replace.
• Transmission: minimum remove and replace but preferably repair.
• Engine: top end overhaul- and remove and replace.
• General servicing
• They will also need to have used the dealership diagnostic tool.

Qualifications necessary:

• Must have a relevant Trade Test

1. Worked on Cummins(NB), CAT(NB) and Detroit diesel.

4. Diagnose malfunctions; consult with customers on diagnosis.
5. Read and interpret diagnostic test results.
6. Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists
7. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, etc.
8. Do routine maintenance, oil changes, battery check, lubricating equipment and parts.
9. Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components.
10. Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, mechanical or electrical equipment.
11. Test-drive vehicles to ensure that they run correctly after repair.

Job Description

• Basic understanding of transport operational business, with strong relationship building and communication skills
• Work with key stakeholders to understand the business problem/requirement and translate this into a technical specification/requirement (storyboarding)
• Play a key role in the UAT phase within the Data Ops process in order to test a created report and measure against the storyboard as per operational requirement
• Assess Control Tower gaps in operational, tactical & strategic reporting, understand the detailed requirement and implement applicable reporting to answer to its needs
• Work with the Continuous Improvement team to improve on data visualization and reporting capability of the company in order to enable decision making in operations
• Collaborate well with Data Engineers/Data Ops team to build tools, dashboards and automate processes or tasks
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills
• Demonstrable experience with Power BI (other additional data visualisation software tools advantageous)
