The New Business Partner is responsible for generating and closing new business while meeting defined sales targets. You will engage prospective clients, understand their operational needs, and position tailored logistics solutions that deliver measurable value. The role spans the full sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation through to onboarding and long-term relationship building, with scope to grow in complexity and responsibility as experience increases.

What You’ll Do
Identify and develop new business opportunities within logistics and road freight
Build a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Engage clients to understand their commercial and operational requirements
Prepare and present solutions aligned to pricing models and service capability
Negotiate and close deals in line with commercial targets
Support the onboarding of new clients and handover to operations
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports
Provide market and competitor insights to management
What You Bring
1–5+ years sales experience within logistics or road freight, depending on level
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Professional communication and relationship-building capability
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Grade 12 qualification; relevant sales or business qualifications advantageous
