Job Summary
Job description/responsibilities:
- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance.
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide HR policy guidance.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals.
- Evaluate training programs.
- Suggest new HR strategies.
Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or any higher qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in a Human Resources related role.
Skills:
- Must have exceptional computer literacy.
- Extensive union management experience
- Strong in IR/ER.
- Excellent in interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management.
- Exposure to budgets an added advantage.
- CCMA/Any Bargaining Council Experience (Conciliation/Arbitrations).
- Excellent people management skills.
- Analytical and goal oriented.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
- Thorough knowledge of labour legislation.
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
