Service, inspect, diagnose and repair diesel trucks, chemical tankers and specialised tanker equipment.
Conduct brake tests, valve tests, final inspections and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults.
Repair, overhaul and recondition tanker loading and offloading valves.
Inspect and repair cryogenic tankers, motors and pumps.
Perform tanker modifications and repairs using MIG and TIG welding.
Conduct annual barrel tests, barrel thickness tests and oversee three-yearly AIA inspections.
Attend breakdowns promptly and provide regular repair updates to Operations and the Workshop Manager.
Supervise third-party repairs and ensure required quality-control standards are maintained.
Complete job cards, repair reports and maintenance records accurately.
Control workshop stock, including issuing parts and supporting procurement.
Maintain strict health, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
