Duties:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment
Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times
Collaborate with the logistics team to minimise downtime and optimise vehicle performance

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel engines
Strong understanding of freight industry standards and safety protocols
Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in Diesel Mechanics

Familiarity with the following:

Heavy vehicle diagnostics tools and equipment
Maintenance management systems
Preventative maintenance practices
