Airfreight Imports Clerk
Our client in the Logistics Sector is seeking an Airfreight Imports Clerk, to join their team.
Location: Pretoria
Job type: On site
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive pre-alerts from handover agents.
- Review documents from hand over agents and resolve any queries
- Track shipments
- Arrange customs clearance
- Arrange delivery on forwarding shipments and ensure that releases are
obtained from airlines
- Obtain pod and charges form transporter on forwarding files
- Obtain airline handling fees from airlines.
- Invoice out the Customs Vat and Duty on files.
- Obtain clearing instruction signatures
Minimum Requirements
- Min 1 years working experience in imports environment.
- Excellent Excel skills
Skills Required
- Attention to Detail
- Good communication skills
- Time Management skills
