Logistics Administrator - Fruit Cold Storage Facility
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Logistics Administrator to coordinate export bookings, dispatch documentation, client specifications and daily logistics administration within a fruit export environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate client orders, load-out instructions, shipping bookings and container dispatches.
Capture and update client specifications, pallet details and order changes accurately on the system.
Liaise with clients, freight forwarders, section managers, transporters, PPECB and DoA inspectors.
Verify dispatch documentation, container and seal numbers, pallet weights, charges and invoicing details.
Prioritise load-outs according to vessel schedules and port stack closures.
Coordinate client-specific stickers, label approvals, printing and load-out photographs.
Monitor templates and consumables, maintain stock records and arrange replenishment when required.
Compile daily, weekly and monthly Excel reports covering pallets, containers, stock, load-outs and missing pallets.
Prepare documentation for quality, age, sticker and special market inspections.
Maintain accurate filing, complete day-end procedures and ensure documentation is distributed to relevant parties.
Provide administrative support and respond professionally to client queries.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics administration, dispatch or a similar role.
Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and export documentation.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in fruit exports, cold storage or shipping documentation would be advantageous.
