Job Summary
COSTING / PRICING DATA ANALYST
Location: Office-Based
Salary: R12 000 – R20 000 (dependent on experience and skill level)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing / Pricing Data Analyst to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone analytical, structured, and eager to build a career working with financial and operational data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in compiling, reviewing, and validating internal pricing information
- Ensure all costing deadlines and targets are consistently met
- Support benchmarking exercises to assess market competitiveness
- Identify, track, and analyse cost trends using Excel and analytical tools
- Maintain, update, and quality-check costing databases
- Provide support to pricing processes by following structured procedures
- Assist in improving cost structures and identifying efficiencies
- (Advantageous) Exposure to freight and transport costing components
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant Diploma in Data Analytics or similar field
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, basic PivotTables)
- Experience working with structured data or databases
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
- Basic financial understanding and interest in costing/pricing
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within processes and meet deadlines
