Job Summary
5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, stock management, or logistics, preferably in [your industry].
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and import/export practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, process-oriented approach with experience developing and implementing SOPs.
Knowledge of cost optimization, supplier evaluation, and compliance with regulatory and ethical sourcing practices
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supply Chain:
Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance.
Source materials, equipment, and services required for production and operational needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve best value.
Manage stock and inventory:
Monitor stock levels, perform regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Forecast demand and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock.
Maintain accurate records of goods received, goods issued, and stock movements.
Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and reporting for management.
Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, finance, and other teams to align procurement and stock management with project and production requirements.
Assist in migrating procurement, inventory, and shipping processes to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Create and maintain part numbers, item codes, supplier records, and shipping data in the ERP system.
Develop digital workflows for procurement, stock receipt, shipping, and inventory management.
Train staff on ERP procedures and ensure compliance with system workflows.
