Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee a portfolio of litigation, commercial, and banking-related disputes
Lead and mentor junior attorneys and candidate attorneys
Handle matters involving banking litigation, foreclosure, NCA compliance disputes, ADR, insolvency, and general commercial litigation
Collaborate with directors on case strategy, risk assessment, and client relationship management
Prepare, review, and manage high-quality pleadings, affidavits, opinions, and strategic litigation documentation
Requirements:
LLB degree and admission as an attorney
Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in litigation and commercial work
Demonstrable experience in banking litigation, foreclosure processes, and application of the National Credit Act
Proven exposure to ADR and insolvency
Valid driver’s licence and own transport
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client communication capabilities
Confident, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters independently
