Job Summary
Minimum Requirements Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer. Minimum 2 years' post-admittance experience as a Conveyancing Attorney. Proven experience managing the full conveyancing process from inception to registration. Sound knowledge of Deeds Office procedures and conveyancing legislation. Strong contract drafting skills. Good accounting and financial administration skills. Afrikaans as a first language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong administrative and organisational abilities. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple matters simultaneously. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport. Experience using AJS, E4, and SearchWorks would be highly advantageous. (Training on AJS can be provided if required.) Key Responsibilities Manage residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction through to registration. Draft and prepare all conveyancing documentation, agreements, and related legal documents. Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, bond originators, municipalities, and the Deeds Office. Attend to bond registrations, property transfers, bond cancellations, and related conveyancing matters. Prepare and review legal contracts and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, FICA, and bank requirements. Conduct Deeds Office searches and monitor the progress of registrations. Manage conveyancing files efficiently while maintaining accurate records and documentation. Resolve conveyancing queries promptly and professionally. Provide exceptional client service throughout the transaction process. Work closely with directors and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
