Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform precise wheel alignment on heavy-duty trucks and trailers using computerised alignment equipment.
- Inspect and assess steering, suspension, and axle systems for wear, damage, or misalignment.
- Identify and report defects and recommend corrective action.
- Maintain alignment equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Complete all job cards and service reports accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety and quality standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in wheel alignment on heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, trailers, buses).
- Solid understanding of axle geometry, suspension systems, and chassis alignment.
- Proficiency in using computerised wheel alignment systems.
- Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanic or related field (advantageous).
- Valid driver’s license (Code 10/14 preferred).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
