Salary: R8 000 – R10 000 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00
Job Purpose:
The Reception Administrator will be responsible for managing all front-desk operations while providing administrative and operational support to the branch. This role requires a highly organised individual capable of handling a high-volume communication environment and ensuring efficient coordination of rental-related processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a busy reception desk, including handling a high volume of incoming calls and walk-in queries
Monitor and respond to the branch after-hours cellphone, including calls and WhatsApp messages throughout the day
Perform credit card reconciliations and confirm transactions accurately
Handle extension-related queries, confirmations, and payments
Process and manage cross-border rental requests and related administration
Conduct daily rental checks, ensuring all documentation (e.g. slips, card details) is complete and accurate
Coordinate due-back vehicle correspondence for the current and previous day, in collaboration with the rental agent on duty
Manage arrival communications and confirmations for upcoming bookings (day prior), in collaboration with the rental agent
Monitor and follow up on overdue rentals, ensuring timely communication with clients
Process and manage claim deposit banking
Provide general administrative support to the branch as required
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in a reception and administrative role (essential)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
