Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Camp Manager for a small luxury tented camp in the Waterberg. This is a hands-on, single live-in role for someone who enjoys hosting guests, leading a team and taking ownership of the daily operation. The role Oversee the guest experience, from arrival through to departure, including meals, activities and special occasions. Lead the camp team, conduct daily briefings and maintain consistent service standards. Inspect guest tents and public areas, and follow up on housekeeping and maintenance needs. Oversee food and beverage service, stock control, purchasing and guest billing. Manage daily administration, reporting and basic financial controls. What you’ll need At least five years’ experience in a camp or lodge management role, or a similar senior hospitality position. Experience in a luxury safari lodge or tented camp is essential. Strong guest relations, team leadership and organisational skills. A calm, practical approach and the confidence to work independently. Computer literacy, a valid driver’s licence and confidence driving in a lodge environment. Contactable references from previous employers. Package: R16,000–R18,000 per month, depending on experience, with accommodation and meals provided. The package includes a compulsory provident fund, seven consecutive days off per month and 21 consecutive days’ annual leave.
