?? Executive Chef | Luxury Safari Lodge | North West ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxury safari lodge. This senior leadership role requires creativity, operational excellence, and a commitment to delivering world‑class dining experiences in a remote lodge environment. ? Package & Benefits Salary: R30,000 – R33,000 per month (depending on experience) ? Location: North West Province ? Live‑in position ? Full provident fund after 3 months’ probation ? Key Responsibilities Oversee all kitchen operations and food production Create innovative, seasonal menus aligned with the luxury safari experience Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety Lead; train, and mentor the kitchen brigade Cater for special dietary requirements and guest preferences Collaborate with lodge management to enhance the overall guest experience ✅ Minimum Requirements Formal culinary qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior culinary leadership role Previous luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or fine‑dining experience preferred Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Proven experience in food costing, stock management, and kitchen administration Ability to work in a remote lodge environment Passion for creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional cuisine ✨ This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands‑on culinary leader to join one of South Africa’s premier safari destinations, driving innovation and excellence in a world‑class hospitality setting. ?
