Key Responsibilities
Managing and supervising manufacturing, assembly, fitment, servicing and load-testing operations.
Planning, coordinating and monitoring production schedules and workflow.
Ensuring product quality standards are maintained and approving final quality inspections.
Leading, coaching, mentoring and developing production personnel.
Managing departmental performance, productivity and resource utilisation.
Coordinating effectively with Engineering, Marketing, Workshop, Human Resources and Management.
Monitoring inventory control systems and production processes.
Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and Company policies.
Managing timesheets, overtime and performance-related matters.
Investigating and resolving operational challenges and workplace conflicts.
Reporting on production progress, risks, delays, budgets and operational requirements.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and departmental growth.
Managing and delivering ad hoc projects and strategic operational objectives.
Supporting succession planning, trainee development and skills transfer initiatives.
