Live-in Position Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Camp Manager for a prestigious luxury safari camp based in the Sabi Sands. This role is ideal for a strong operational leader who thrives in a remote, high-end hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring seamless camp operations across all departments. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the daily running of the camp, leading teams, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction. Requirements: ✔ Minimum 5+ years’ experience in luxury safari lodge or camp management ✔ Strong leadership and team management experience essential ✔ Proven operational, financial, and stock control capability ✔ Excellent guest relations and service delivery skills ✔ Strong understanding of safari lodge operations (guiding, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance) ✔ Ability to perform under pressure in a remote environment ✔ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities ✔ Valid driver’s licence required ✔ Hands-on, proactive, and highly organised management style Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations across all camp departments including guest services, housekeeping, F&B, guiding, and maintenance • Lead, coach, and manage staff to ensure a high-performance, service-driven culture • Maintain exceptional guest service standards and personalised hospitality delivery • Manage operational budgets, stock control, and resource allocation effectively • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery with professionalism • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures • Coordinate with guiding and operations teams to ensure high-quality safari experiences • Oversee bookings, occupancy, and scheduling for operational efficiency • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development • Report on operational performance, guest satisfaction, and financial outcomes Candidate Profile: • Strong, confident leader with a hands-on management approach • Highly guest-focused with a passion for luxury safari hospitality • Calm, resilient, and solution-driven under pressure • Excellent communicator with strong team-building ability • Detail-oriented with high operational standards and discipline Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
