Role Overview: Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and guest-focused Rooms Division Manager for a luxury boutique hotel and spa located in the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong experience in Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Guest Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Rooms Division, ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences across all accommodation offerings. ? Requirements: • Minimum 8 years' experience within the hospitality industry • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Rooms Division management role • Strong experience in Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and Accommodation Operations • Previous luxury hotel, boutique hotel, lodge, or villa-style accommodation experience advantageous • Proven leadership experience managing operational teams and supervisors • Strong guest relations and service recovery skills • Excellent communication and organisational abilities • Strong understanding of room standards, housekeeping quality, and operational readiness • Ability to work flexible management hours, including weekends and public holidays ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the Rooms Division department • Ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service throughout the property • Manage Front Office, Reservations, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Concierge operations • Conduct regular room and public area inspections to maintain luxury standards • Monitor arrivals, departures, room readiness, and occupancy levels • Oversee guest requests, feedback, and service recovery processes • Ensure smooth reservation management, room allocations, and guest communications • Lead, mentor, and develop departmental supervisors and team members • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and departmental productivity • Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure effective communication between all accommodation and guest-facing departments ?
