Restaurant Supervisor – Luxury Safari Lodge – Northern KwaZulu-Natal
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to join a luxury safari lodge in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead front-of-house operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest standards of food and beverage service in a remote Big 5 safari setting.
Salary
- R18,000 per month
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Restaurant Supervisor or senior Food & Beverage role within a luxury lodge or five-star hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in a remote live-in environment
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food and beverage service across the restaurant, bar, boma, bush dinners, in-room dining and safari meals
- Deliver exceptional five-star guest experiences and manage guest feedback professionally
- Lead, train and motivate the front-of-house team
- Conduct daily service briefings and ensure service standards are consistently maintained
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, front office and safari teams
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation and minimising wastage
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards
- Support operational administration, reporting and service audits
