Duties:
- Execute routine vibration data collection and parameter logging on plant rotating machinery using designated data collectors.
- Perform infrared thermography scans on electrical substations, distribution boards, and mechanical components to identify thermal anomalies.
- Download, organize, and archive sensory data into the site’s condition monitoring databases.
- Draft detailed asset health reports, track fault progression, and initiate early maintenance alerts.
- Inspect and calibrate diagnostic instruments, portable sensors, and field tools to ensure operational compliance.
- Strictly adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid Technical Matric (Mathematics and Science)
- N3--N6 engineering certificate or a National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Skills in analysis, data collection, and calibration
