Key Responsibilities Assume responsibility for overall lodge operations during relief periods Maintain high standards of luxury hospitality and guest service Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently Lead; support, and motivate the lodge team to foster a positive working environment Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate individual guest needs Assist with staff management, scheduling, and performance support Ensure lodge standards, procedures, and policies are consistently upheld Collaborate with departmental heads for seamless communication and operational continuity Assist with stock control, cost management, and administrative duties Handle guest queries, concerns, and operational challenges professionally Maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, and suppliers Represent the property with professionalism at all times ✅ Minimum Requirements Previous experience as a Lodge Manager, Relief Lodge Manager, or Assistant Lodge Manager in a luxury lodge environment Strong leadership and people‑management skills Excellent guest relations and communication abilities Solid organisational and problem‑solving skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure Hands‑on approach to lodge operations High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Valid driver’s licence essential Relevant hospitality qualifications advantageous ✨ Ideal Candidate A confident and adaptable hospitality leader with strong operational knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to ensure seamless lodge operations in a luxury safari setting. ? ?
