The ideal candidate will combine deep luxury hospitality credibility with functional depth in procurement, operational systems, or commercial operations – and will bring a genuine love of the wilderness, conservation, and delivering world-class guest experiences. Requirements • Degree in Hospitality, Business, Tourism, or a relevant field; postgraduate qualification advantageous • Minimum 10 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong preference for multi-site safari or lodge environments • At least 5 years in a senior or multi-site leadership role within the industry • Functional depth in at least one of the following areas is required: procurement and supply chain management, operational systems, or commercial operations. • Prior experience in a group, regional, or multi-site integration role is highly advantageous, particularly where exposure to standards development, systems rollout, or operational consistency initiatives was gained. • A deep understanding of luxury guest experience, combined with an exceptional eye for detail across finishes, presentation, and soft elements such as uniforms, décor, and materials. • A track record of building and implementing operational systems that create efficiency, consistency, and accountability across dispersed locations. • An influential leadership style with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams and deliver outcomes without direct line authority, through credibility and collaboration. • An adaptive operator who thrives in ambiguity and shifting priorities, combining strategic thinking with practical, hands-on problem solving. • High emotional intelligence and the ability to develop local talent and build capability within the team. • A background that includes international luxury guest exposure and demonstrable experience working across functions beyond core hospitality operations. • A genuine passion for the African wilderness, conservation, and the pursuit of outstanding guest experiences. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong project management, systems thinking, and organisational skills. • The role is based in Maun, with regular travel to remote bush camps across the portfolio.
