We are looking for a Driver/ General Worker that fulfill the following requirements:
Skills Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with PDP
Job Description
- Drive company vehicle to do deliveries and collections
- Assist with loading and off-loading of the vehicle
- Ensure that relevant documentation is delivered with the goods to the correct customer and delivery notes are signed
- Report vehicle maintenance problems to the Branch Manager
- Keep your vehicle clean
- Fill in logbook and check-in logbook
- Always follow the rules and regulations on the road
- All traffic fines incurred are to be paid by Driver
General work when not doing deliveries or collections:
- Picking of stock
- Cleaning of all areas in the office / workshop / stores
- Getting goods ready, packing / boxing for couriers/deliveries
- Unpacking/offloading of stock
- Physical labour
