? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, sustainability-driven luxury safari and camp group in Tanzania for an experienced and commercially astute ??????????? ??????? Our client is a respected luxury safari operator running an acclaimed portfolio of authentic camps and lodges across Tanzania. With a strong commitment to conservation, responsible sourcing, and an exceptional standard of guest experience, this is a business where operational excellence and purpose go hand in hand. Based at their head office in Arusha, this is a rare opportunity to take on a senior, group-wide procurement role within one of East Africa’s most distinctive safari brands. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will take ownership of the full procurement and supply chain function across all properties – spanning strategic sourcing, supplier relationships and contract negotiation, capital and asset procurement (including safari vehicles and lodge furnishings), fine wine and specialty F&B curation, guest amenity sourcing, and inventory and logistics coordination. The role calls for someone equally comfortable developing procurement strategy at a senior level and getting into the detail of sustainable, ethical sourcing for a remote luxury operation. Regular travel to camps, lodges, and suppliers across Tanzania and the region is required. ???????????? · A relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or CIPS certification is advantageous. · A minimum of 7 years’ procurement experience, ideally within the hospitality, tourism, or sustainability-focused sectors. · At least 3–5 years’ background in food and beverage management or luxury hospitality retail. · Solid knowledge of fine wines, premium spirits, gourmet ingredients, and high-end guest products. · Proven track record in sourcing for remote luxury operations, including capital asset and vehicle procurement. · Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance, vendor evaluations, and pricing reviews. · Working knowledge of logistics, customs, and import/export processes within East Africa. · Proficiency in procurement management systems (Sage or equivalent). · High ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. · Comfortable working across diverse cultures and operating in remote or field-based environments. · Willingness to travel regularly to camps, lodges, and suppliers across Tanzania and neighbouring countries. · Contactable references essential. ?????? – On application ➡️ ?????? ???? – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
