A well-established and patient-focused dental practice in Burgersfort, Limpopo, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys clinical dentistry and is looking to develop additional administrative skills in a supportive private practice environment.

Ideal Starting Date: ASAP

Minimum Requirements:

• HPCSA Registered Dental Assistant

• 2–3 years' experience in a private dental practice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, reliable, and well-presented

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

• Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and chairside assisting

• Basic understanding of medical aid processes and dental practice fee structures

• Willingness to learn reception and administrative duties after the initial training period

Key Responsibilities:

First 3 Months (Clinical Focus):

• Chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures

• Preparation and sterilisation of instruments and treatment rooms

• Infection prevention and control in accordance with HPCSA guidelines

• Assisting with patient preparation and post-treatment instructions

• Developing a sound understanding of the practice's medical aid procedures and pricing structure

After 3 Months (Additional Administrative Training):

• Basic reception duties

• Knowledge with operating Goodx system is an advantage.

• Patient bookings and appointment management

• Assisting with patient queries

• Administrative support and practice workflow assistance

Remuneration & Working Hours:

• Salary: R11,800 per month (before statutory deductions)

• Working Hours: 40 hours per week
