? PEOPLE (HR) ADMINISTRATOR | LUXURY SAFARI LODGE | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK ? Kendrick Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a People (HR) Administrator for a luxury safari lodge nestled within the iconic Kruger National Park. This role is ideal for a people-focused HR professional who is passionate about staff wellbeing, strong administration, and making a meaningful impact within a remote, world-class hospitality environment. ✨ The Role The People (HR) Administrator will support the People Manager and senior leadership team in implementing the lodge’s people strategy and ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of all HR-related activities. This is a hands-on role that balances administration, employee support, compliance, and community engagement – all while living and working in one of Africa’s most extraordinary wilderness settings. ? Key Responsibilities Include: * Supporting the People Manager and General Manager with all HR-related functions * Managing departmental responsibilities during the People Manager’s absence * Providing guidance and support to management in line with company values, policies, and procedures * Handling junior personnel administration and payroll * Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and inductions * Supporting training and development initiatives * Assisting with industrial relations and disciplinary processes * Data capturing, reporting, and general HR administration * Facilitating staff welfare, health, and wellness initiatives * Coordinating employee equipment, accommodation, and staff wardrobe items * Providing ad hoc support to employees as needed * Actively contributing to sustainability, wellness, and community development projects ? Skills & Experience Required: * HR qualification (advantageous) * Proven experience in HR administration * Hospitality industry experience (preferred) * Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes * Sound knowledge of labour law and disciplinary procedures * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality * Empathetic, patient, and genuinely passionate about people and community upliftment * Ability to work independently and proactively * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) * Good computer literacy, particularly MS Word, Excel, and HR/payroll systems (Sage VIP advantageous) * Valid driver’s licence * South African nationality or valid working visa ?
