Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join an ultra-luxury safari camp based in Touws River. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative pastry professional to showcase their skills in a unique and high-end bush environment.
Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods to luxury standards
Ensure consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in all pastry offerings
Assist with menu development and seasonal updates
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry kitchen in line with hygiene standards
Manage stock, ingredients, and portion control within the pastry section
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Contribute to an exceptional overall dining experience for guests
Requirements:
Relevant culinary or pastry qualification preferred
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury environment
Creative flair with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to live and work in a remote environment
Package & Benefits:
Salary of R12,500 – R14,000 depending on experience
Live-in accommodation provided
