Operations Manager | JHB | Premium Hospitality Group A rapidly expanding restaurant group is seeking a strategic and high-energy OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee a diverse portfolio of successful dining concepts. This role is ideal for a leader with a proven track record in multi-unit management and a deep understanding of premium service standards. The group currently operates high-volume Greek; Italian, and Steakhouse concepts with a Head Office in Wynberg and established locations in Bryanston and Parkhurst . The Role The Operations Manager will ensure seamless execution across all sites, driving financial performance while maintaining the unique identity of each culinary concept. This position reports to the directors and focuses on operational efficiency, team development, and brand consistency during this phase of aggressive growth. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations for restaurants in Bryanston and Parkhurst to ensure impeccable service and food quality. Financial Oversight: Drive profitability through strict management of P&Ls, food costs, and labor expenses. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and hold General Managers accountable for performance and staff retention. Expansion Management: Assist in the operational setup and launch of new locations as the group scales. Compliance: Ensure all units adhere to health, safety, and labor regulations at all times. Candidate Requirements Experience: A minimum of 5 years in senior hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit or regional role. Concept Knowledge: Experience managing Steakhouses or high-end Mediterranean/Italian casual dining is essential. Business Acumen: Strong financial skills with the ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions. Availability: Immediate availability to join the group is a priority. Location: Ability to commute between the Wynberg Head Office and various restaurant locations. Remuneration A highly competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience and industry standing.
