Operations Director – Experiential Aviation & Charter Company ? Location: Maun, Botswana ? Salary: P60,000 – P70,000 per month, depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an accomplished and strategically minded Operations Director to lead the operational functions of an established experiential aviation and charter company based in Maun, Botswana. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with a strong background in aviation, charter operations or high-end travel, who can drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver exceptional service standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficient, safe and seamless charter operations. Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and profitability. Manage flight scheduling, logistics, resource allocation and operational planning. Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and company policies. Lead; mentor and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Monitor budgets, operational costs and performance indicators to improve efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, aviation partners and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the guest experience and strengthen service delivery. Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning, business development and long-term objectives. Requirements Proven senior management experience in aviation, charter operations or a closely related industry. Strong understanding of aviation operations, safety procedures and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and complex operational requirements. Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities. A strategic, solutions-driven approach with the ability to perform under pressure. Experience within luxury tourism, experiential travel or safari-related aviation will be advantageous.
