Marketing Manager - Boutique Hotels & Lodges Group - Cape Town, Western Cape Salary Package Market-related Live-out position Role Overview A well-established boutique hospitality group is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to drive brand visibility, revenue growth, and market positioning across its portfolio of luxury properties. This role requires a commercially minded marketing professional with strong digital capability, brand custodianship experience, and the ability to manage multiple marketing functions simultaneously within a dynamic hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop; implement, and report on an annual marketing strategy and budget Set measurable marketing objectives aligned with business and revenue goals Monitor financial processes within the marketing department and ensure budget adherence Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest insights to refine strategies Digital Marketing & Online Presence Oversee websites, social media platforms, and online advertising channels Manage SEO strategies and online reputation across review platforms Monitor website traffic, direct bookings, and digital performance metrics Manage paid digital campaigns including Google Ads and related platforms Coordinate with third-party digital suppliers and agencies Content Creation & Brand Custodianship Develop and manage engaging, on-brand content across digital and print platforms Write marketing copy for campaigns, promotions, and advertising collateral Ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning across all touchpoints Visual Content & Creative Oversight Guide the creation of visual assets in collaboration with designers and suppliers Oversee photo shoots at properties from planning through to execution Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and quality standards Public Relations & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners Manage press releases, media enquiries, and brand communications Support crisis communication and reputation management when required Events; Promotions & Administration Coordinate marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships Manage production and distribution of printed marketing materials Maintain inventory of marketing assets and supplies Act as part of the core management team, supporting group-level initiatives as required Minimum Requirements (Essential) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager or similar senior marketing role Hospitality; boutique hotel, or lifestyle brand experience - essential Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, content creation, and brand management Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Advantageous Experience working across multiple properties or brands Proficiency with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and design tools Strong understanding of guest experience-driven marketing ?
