Management Couple - Country Manager & Lodge General Manager - Luxury Safari Portfolio - Malawi Our client, a well-established hospitality and safari group in Malawi, is seeking an experienced Management Couple to lead and oversee their operations. This unique opportunity combines a strategic Country Manager role with a hands-on Lodge General Manager position, offering the successful couple the chance to make a significant impact across a growing hospitality portfolio. This role is ideally suited to a couple with extensive African lodge and hospitality experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. The Country Manager will have overall accountability for the group's operations within Malawi, overseeing three hospitality properties. Responsibilities include financial management, procurement, human resources, statutory compliance, strategic planning, operational oversight, and reporting directly to the owners. The Lodge General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the flagship lodge, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, managing departmental teams, overseeing lodge operations, and driving overall operational performance. Working closely together, the successful couple will ensure the smooth running of both the lodge and broader country operations while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business. Requirements; Country Manager Proven senior management experience within hospitality, safari lodges, or multi-property operations Strong financial, HR, procurement, and compliance experience Previous African hospitality experience essential Excellent leadership, reporting, and organizational skills Lodge General Manager Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or General Manager within a luxury lodge or safari environment Strong guest relations and operational management skills Experience leading and developing hospitality teams Passion for service excellence and attention to detail Package on Offer Gross Salary: USD 7,500 per month (approximately USD 5,250 net) Fully furnished two-bedroom house provided All meals included Company vehicle provided for the Country Manager USD 1,000 per person annual flight allowance Ideal start date: End July 2026 to allow for a comprehensive handover period Please note: Unfortunately, this position is not suitable for candidates travelling with children or pets.
