Project Manager – Corporate Catering – Stellenbosch A leading corporate catering company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to oversee a large corporate catering unit based in Stellenbosch. This role is responsible for managing the entire operation, ensuring exceptional food service standards, client satisfaction, financial performance, compliance, and the successful delivery of functions and events. The successful candidate will lead a team of 29 staff members across a full kitchen, front-of-house service operation, and four on-site coffee bars. Package Salary: R33,000 per month Working Hours Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:00 Occasional late functions and events Occasional weekend work required for month-end procedures, stock takes, and inventory counts Unit Overview Full production kitchen Front-of-house serving operation 4 x coffee bars Staff complement of 29 employees Job Description Manage daily unit operations and ensure contractual compliance Oversee food production, service delivery, and quality standards Lead menu planning, food costing, and profitability initiatives Manage stock control, ordering systems, sales capture, and banking Drive client satisfaction and SLA compliance Manage staffing, workforce planning, payroll, and performance management Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Coordinate and execute functions, events, and catering activities Minimum Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience in catering or hospitality management Strong financial management, budgeting, costing, and forecasting experience Proven leadership experience managing large teams Strong client relationship and service management skills Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, health, and compliance standards Experience managing events, functions, and high-volume catering operations
