Job Summary
Highly motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy, high-volume restaurant, clubhouse and 9-hole golf course. Essential requirements:- • Matric • Hospitality Management Qualification • Minimum 4 years F&B management experience in 4* hotel or a golf club • Operations Management of the golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, half way house, pro-shop and drinks carts for the course, as well as related facilities. • Strong financial acumen to monitor revenue, expenditure, cash flow, and financial performance, as well as cash handling and banking. • Inventory And Procurement by overseeing stock ordering, receiving, and inventory management as well as Minimise wastage and shrinkage through effective controls. • Promote membership growth and retention, by Fostering a welcoming and inclusive club culture. • Build relationships with tourism operators, local stakeholders, and sponsors. • Staff Management and lead team by example, roster according to the business requirements and • Effective control of timekeeping in terms of reporting for duty, breaks and end of shifts. • Golfer preferred – mid 30’s to late 40’s To be considered, only apply if you have the specific experience outlined above. o Send an updated MS Word CV starting with your current position and include a recent headshot taken in the last 6 months. o By applying, candidates agree to provide any requested information to Hospitality Exchange (see below) within 24 hours, including contact details of 2 or 3 recent direct superiors (excluding current), and consent to contact for references
