Management Couple / Lodge Manager Location: Greater Kruger Property Type: Luxury Lodge Salary: Negotiable DOE + Benefits | Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking either an experienced Management Couple or a single Lodge Manager for a high-end luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger area. The successful applicants will ensure exceptional guest experiences, seamless operational performance, and the continuous development of the lodge. Applicants for the single role do not need to be guides; however, guiding qualifications will be highly advantageous. Single Lodge Manager Duties and Responsibilities Guest Services Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Foster a warm, welcoming environment to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Conduct game drives where qualified or arrange freelance guides when required. Lodge Operations Maintain high operational and service standards across the lodge. Arrange relief staff when required. Manage housekeeping and housekeeping team responsibilities. Oversee gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep. Arrange and supervise lodge maintenance projects when needed. Administration Complete and submit month-end reports. Submit salaries for monthly payment. Manage ordering and control of stock, consumables, and lodge assets. Desired Experience & Qualifications Qualifications Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent. Valid First Aid qualification. FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) advantageous. DEAT registration advantageous. Valid PDP advantageous. Skills Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Broad operational experience across HR, administration, FOH, guest relations, and lodge operations. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and Word. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Flexible availability, including working additional hours when required. Ability to lead by example. Ability to work independently. Staff management experience. Passion and drive to develop the lodge to its full potential. Management Couple Duties and Responsibilities Her Role – Guest Services, Administration & Housekeeping Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Foster a warm, welcoming environment for all guests. Address guest concerns and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. Ensure exceptional lodge standards are maintained at all times. Arrange relief housekeepers when required. Oversee housekeeping operations and staff. Complete and submit month-end reports. Submit salaries for payment each month. Manage ordering and control of stock, consumables, and lodge assets. Him – Guiding & Lodge Operations Conduct daily game drives as a full-time guide. Host and welcome guests. Oversee gardens, maintenance, and general lodge upkeep. Assist with operational duties where required. Desired Experience & Qualifications Her Qualifications Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent. His Qualifications FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2). DEAT registered. Valid PDP. Valid First Aid qualification. Skills Her Skills Strong leadership and team motivation abilities. Full operational understanding across HR, administration, FOH and guest experience. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. Strong knowledge of lodge operations. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
