Maintenance Manager | Luxury Lodge | Bela Bela

Salary: R25,680.00 GROSS (Live-in)

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager for a luxury lodge in Bela Bela. This hands-on role is responsible for leading all maintenance operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing projects and contractors, and overseeing the lodge’s facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will take ownership of operational standards and lead a small maintenance team within a dynamic, high-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all maintenance operations across buildings, accommodation, public areas, and equipment
  

• Manage projects, contractors, and budgets efficiently
  

• Ensure compliance with safety, OHS standards, and fire regulations
  

• Control stock, tools, and procurement processes
  

• Oversee fleet management and reporting
  

• Supervise and develop maintenance staff performance and capabilities
  

• Maintain high standards of operational and environmental safety within the lodge
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
  

• 3+ years’ experience in Maintenance Management
  

• 3+ years’ experience in Project Management
  

• 2+ years’ experience in Fleet Management
  

• Valid Driver’s License and PDP
  

• First Aid Level 3 certification
  

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety compliance
  

• Firefighting experience – Crew leader/crew boss, including grass fires
  

• Understanding of high voltage power lines, transformers, and generators
  

• Knowledge of PV (photovoltaic) system principles
