Maintenance Manager — Luxury Lodge | Limpopo A leading luxury safari lodge in Limpopo is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all technical, mechanical, and facilities operations on the property. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, solid technical knowledge, and experience maintaining lodge infrastructure in a remote environment. ? Key Responsibilities Oversee all maintenance operations across the lodge, including buildings, rooms, vehicles, machinery, pools, and general infrastructure. Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure smooth property functioning. Respond quickly to technical breakdowns and conduct repairs efficiently. Manage and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of workmanship. Conduct regular inspections of the lodge (guest areas, staff village, back-of-house). Control maintenance budgets, stock levels, ordering, and contractor coordination. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations. Maintain generators, solar systems, water pumps, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units where applicable. ? Minimum Requirements 3–5 years in a Maintenance Manager role within a lodge, hotel, or similar hospitality environment. Strong technical background — plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, or general handyman work. Experience with bush/lodge infrastructure (boreholes, generators, water systems, etc.) is highly advantageous. Valid driver’s licence. Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
