? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is currently assisting a leading luxury lodge and camp portfolio in East Africa in sourcing an experienced ??????????? ??????? to oversee all technical operations across their remote properties. This role carries responsibility for the continuous upkeep, repair, and preventative care of all buildings, guest areas, back‑of‑house spaces, plant and equipment, and critical operating systems. It requires a blend of strong technical understanding, operational discipline, and a refined appreciation for guest‑facing aesthetics in a high‑end environment. The Maintenance Manager will lead multi‑skilled teams and ensure seamless functioning of power, water, waste and structural systems, while maintaining the visual standards and environmental harmony expected within a premium safari hospitality setting. ???????????? · Relevant diploma or degree in maintenance, electrical, mechanical or related fields. · Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a senior maintenance role within remote high-end lodges · No less than 4 years previous experience working in East Africa. · In-depth technical expertise across solar/hybrid systems, plumbing, electrical, water treatment, and structural upkeep. · Strong team leadership experience, with the ability to lead remote and culturally diverse teams · Budget management, reporting, and project execution skills. · Excellent communication in English; Swahili an added advantage. · Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between bush-based properties. · Stable work history reflecting commitment and growth in similar environments. ➡️ ?????? ???? – Due to the remote nature of this role, only candidates with previous lodge-based maintenance management experience will be considered.
