Lodge Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Greater Kruger Salary: R20;000 Accommodation: Live-in Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-rounder to take full responsibility for lodge operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a motivated team. The successful candidate will oversee all departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, high service standards, and effective team management within a remote bush environment. Minimum Requirements: • Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management within a luxury environment • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities • Solid financial acumen, including stock and cost control • Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a remote environment • Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills • Professional, proactive, and hands-on approach • Willingness to work on a 3/1 week cycle Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all lodge operations including guest services, housekeeping, laundry, and front of house • Manage reservations, guest bookings, and enquiries professionally • Plan and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient operations • Lead, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture • Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and lodge presentation • Manage stock control, procurement, and inventory processes • Oversee basic financial administration and record keeping • Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and guest dining experiences • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards • Report on lodge performance and implement improvements where required This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional looking to take ownership of a luxury lodge and grow within a dynamic safari environment.
