Hospitality and Outdoor – Restaurant Area Manager – Woodstock, Cape Town Introduction Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking an experienced Restaurant Area Manager to oversee a group of restaurants in Woodstock, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manager with proven multi-unit restaurant experience; excellent financial acumen and a passion for operational excellence to join a growing hospitality group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent operations ; profitability, compliance, leadership and high service standards across all restaurants within the assigned area. Job Requirements – Restaurant Area Manager Proven experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager or senior restaurant manager within a multi-unit environment – Essential Strong understanding of restaurant operations ; procedures and service standards Proven ability to improve restaurant profitability and manage P&L performance Strong financial skills, including budgets, expenditure, variance and waste analysis Ability to identify poor-performing restaurants and implement effective corrective action plans Conduct regular restaurant inspections, safety audits and maintenance walk-throughs Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to restaurant management teams Strong employee relations, training, succession planning and team engagement skills Monitor labour costs while maintaining required service standards Submit accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports Conduct regular GM meetings and monthly employee engagement meetings Comfortable working different shifts, including evenings, according to business requirements Ability to travel between restaurants and conduct regular store visits Excellent communication, organisational, analytical and leadership abilities The successful manager will take ownership of operational performance across the restaurant group, identify risks and opportunities, monitor audits and financial results, and work closely with General Managers to achieve business objectives. Package – Restaurant Area Manager Salary: Negotiable per month, depending on experience Start Date: ASAP
