Our client is looking for an established hospitality professional with experience managing a five-star property independently in a remote setting. A passion for guest service, sustainability, conservation and community development is essential. The General Manager will take overall responsibility for lodge operations, financial performance and staff management, maintaining exceptional standards across accommodation, food, safari activities and all guest touchpoints. The role requires a confident, approachable leader who can develop the team and build strong relationships with guests, communities and industry partners. ??? ???????????????? Oversee the effective daily management of the lodge and maintain exceptional standards across all departments. Build strong relationships with staff, guests, government departments, local communities, agents and neighbouring lodges. Manage budgets, financial forecasts and cost controls, improving efficiencies through local sourcing and consistent product quality. Lead and develop the team, maintain HR structures and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Continually improve the guest experience across accommodation, food, game activities and all guest touchpoints. Monitor the condition and efficiency of buildings, operational equipment, vehicles and generators. Host visiting agents, media and VIP groups. ???????????? A minimum of five years’ experience running a five-star operation as a Lodge Manager or General Manager, with the ability to manage a remote property independently. A qualification in Hospitality or Business Management for work permits Strong knowledge of lodge operations, financial management and staff management, supported by good computer skills. A proactive, compassionate leadership style, strong communication skills and a proven focus on guest and staff service. A passion for hospitality, sustainability, conservation and community development. A good command of English and an outgoing, warm and professional manner, with confidence hosting affluent guests.
