CuroMed operates five GP practices across Bloemfontein and Brandfort. The purpose of this role is to grow patient volumes, increase local awareness, build referral relationships, and position CuroMed as a trusted community GP network for families, students, employers, schools, elderly communities and local organisations.
The Practice Growth Marketer / PRO will be the face of CuroMed in the community. The successful candidate will actively visit schools, residences, universities, employers, old age homes, SMEs, women’s groups, churches, sports clubs, farmers and community organisations to promote services, build trust and generate measurable patient enquiries and bookings.
This is a field-based growth role focused on face-to-face engagement, relationship building, local activations and patient acquisition.

The successful candidate must professionally represent CuroMed in the community, support practice growth, assist with the Student Health Ambassador programme, and help each practice become visible, trusted and commercially sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Local Practice Growth and Relationship Building
• Visit schools, residences, universities, employers, SMEs, old age homes, churches, sports clubs and community groups.
• Introduce CuroMed GP services and explain access to care.
• Build referral relationships with local organisations.
• Identify high-potential community groups around practices.
• Maintain contact databases and follow up consistently.
• Arrange health talks, wellness days and awareness activations.
• Generate patient enquiries and bookings from outreach activity.
• Ensure each visit has clear objectives and follow-up actions.
- Student Health Ambassador Programme Support
• Support ambassador recruitment, onboarding and coordination.
• Assist with campus and residence activations.
• Ensure ambassadors understand the CuroMed message and referral process.
• Distribute posters, QR cards, WhatsApp booking details and campaign material.
• Track leads, QR scans, WhatsApp enquiries and bookings.
• Collect reports, photos and activity feedback.
• Support training sessions and ambassador check-ins.
- School and Residence Marketing
• Build relationships with schools, residences and accommodation providers.
• Promote GP access for learners, students, teachers and parents.
• Arrange health talks and wellness days.
• Promote WhatsApp booking details and practice contact information.
• Support campaigns around flu, stress, sports injuries, chronic disease and wellness.
• Identify opportunities for first-aid and health education support.
- University and Student Market Growth
• Build relationships with student groups, societies and residences.
• Promote convenient GP access for students away from home.
• Support campaigns around flu, mental wellness, sexual health, stress and exam support.
• Coordinate student activations.
• Drive awareness and bookings for relevant practices.
- Employer Group and SME Outreach
• Promote CuroMed as a GP partner for employees.
• Arrange workplace wellness days where appropriate.
• Promote chronic disease screening and GP consultations.
• Introduce CuroMed to HR managers, owners and office managers.
• Develop employer communication packs and encourage staff referrals.
- Old Age Homes and Places of Care
• Visit retirement villages, frail-care facilities and caregiver groups.
• Promote GP support for elderly patients and families.
• Build relationships with matrons, care managers and caregivers.
• Identify needs around chronic care, wound care, medicine reviews and post-hospital follow-up.
• Support referral pathways to nearby practices.
- Women’s Groups, Farmers and Community Groups
• Engage churches, women’s groups, farming communities and local organisations.
• Promote preventative care, family health, chronic disease management and wellness.
• Arrange community talks and small group sessions.
• Identify local influencers and community champions.
- Practice-Level Support and Patient Growth
• Work closely with practice teams.
• Understand each practice’s services, bookings and patient flow.
• Match outreach audiences to suitable practices.
• Share community feedback with operations and marketing.
• Track outreach-related enquiries and bookings.
• Escalate service or access issues affecting growth.
- Campaign Execution and Local Activations
Campaigns may include:
