Junior Lodge Manager - 5* Luxury Tented Safari Lodge - Greater Kruger, Hoedspruit Area Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a warm, enthusiastic and guest-focused Junior Lodge Manager for an intimate 5-star luxury tented safari lodge in the Greater Kruger, near Hoedspruit - a beautifully positioned property offering nine spacious luxury suites, Big Five game drives, a kosher kitchen and an exceptional level of personalised hospitality. This is a junior-to-mid-level management role with genuine growth potential. The client is not only looking for someone with the right skills - they are looking for the right person. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in a lodge management, assistant lodge management or senior guest relations role - essential Warm; outgoing and naturally hospitable - this is non-negotiable Strong guest-facing communication skills in English Basic understanding of lodge operations including FOH, F&B, housekeeping and guest liaison Comfortable with administrative duties including check-ins, check-outs and guest correspondence An interest in and appreciation for the African bush and wildlife Well-presented; professional and reliable Comfortable living and working in a remote, live-in bush environment Valid South African driver's licence advantageous Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day lodge operations and ensure a seamless, personalised guest experience throughout each stay Welcome; host and engage with guests warmly from arrival to departure Coordinate daily activities, game drives and special requests with relevant departments Oversee housekeeping standards and conduct regular room and area checks Manage guest dietary requirements and liaise with the kitchen team on special needs and preferences Handle guest correspondence and reservations administration Supervise and support lodge staff during the shift Maintain lodge presentation and public area standards at all times Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and with care Package: Gross Salary: R10,000 to R15,000 per month (DOE) Live-in: Accommodation and meals included Uniform provided Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off Annual leave: 15 days per year Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, contactable references and a recent head and shoulders photo ASAP! ?
